We have 1 W2K3+sp2 server running the Backupexec software, version 11d(running al updates)
and 1 server W2K3+sp2 running the Exchange agent,
when we try to restore a single message or a complete message,
the following error appears: e000848f - Insufficient disk space. "
we tried al the solutions as mentioned on the web ,without positive result

we set the temp storage as mentioned on Restore properties-Settings --Advanced
to a location which has 4 times the amount free of the exchange store (which is10 GB),
then the previous mentioned error occured
when we also changed the path in Settings-Microsoft Exchange "Path on Exchange server for temp storage" to variour partitions
of which the default C:\TEMP (c= 31.7 GB free)
the other options E= 42,4 GB free or F= 37.9 GB free
al resulted in the previous error.

Can anybody  please advice what changes i need to make to allow me to restore a single message or mailbox/folder

when using normal backup/restore functionallity with BackupExec 6  on single mails,
there ain't a problem

hi,

even you want to restore one mail, you required to have equal space as in Informataion storage space .

during the restoration , backup exec 11d is staging the temp files and it will stage euivlanet to BACKUP information database space.

use USB HDD or create more space in local server
