Restoring one node of an active/passive exchange 2003 cluster

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Afternoon,

We are currently running a active/passive exchange 2003 cluster.

We use Backup Exec 12.5 for our Exchange backups.

One of the nodes has corrupted and needs to be restored/rebuilt.

The node in question is a Dell Poweredge 2850 running server 2003 SP2.

What's the best way to restore the node using Backup Exec ?

Thanks,

Andrew

That is going to depend on what all you have backed up on that node of the cluster.  But you should just be able to restore the drives, system state / shadow copy and be on your way.  You will need to make sure it is NOT the active node of the cluster when you start the restore process, but otherwise it will be just like restoring any other server.
