Restoring a Oracle Database

Hello Everybody

I am using NB 656 and Oracle Netbackup Agent to perform my backups from my Oracle Database 10g Online daily and Archived Logs hourly.

I know that a restore using the NB Agent Oracle only restores the Database using all those archivelog necessary to perform a full and integrity restore.

But, if I made a wrong DML and I want to perform a restore in a determinated time ? How can I choose only specific archivelog to restore?

Do I have to create a RMAN script envolving my NB environment?

Any tips ? Any model of a good script to test?

Thanks

Alexandre Andrich

More of an Oracle question than NetBackup.  See this site for Point in Time Recovery:

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B12037_01/server.101/b10734/rcmrecov.htm

If you are not a DBA, have them do it!  Again this is not really a NetBackup issue.

Hello

Thanks for the answer. I found this.

It was really an Oracle Rman procedure.
