We have currently gone over licencing for Carbon copy, we have a licence for 7000 and are currently 7112 and get an error about licencing we go to use Carbon copy. We think we should have less than 7000 pc's and have run purging maintenance with the settings set to last 4 months and set to retire computers, but this has not helped lower the carbon copy licences.
Is there a way of reporting all computers that have not talked to the notification server for a set period and retire from the report and will this reclaim the carbon copy licences? I do not want the computers to be deleted from database as I want to to be able to run the report that shows - non-active computers if I require to make any active.
