    I'm trying to install SAV for Linux 1.0.14-13 on an Ubuntu 12.04.2 x64 (kernel 3.2.0-54-virtual) on AWS EC2 instance and successfully run following intruction on another link here

    However, i stuck on Java Live Update when run first update command, /opt/Symantec/symantec_antivirus/sav liveupdate -u and found error "Unable to fina java path".

    If i run manually command, java -classpath /opt/Symantec/LiveUpdate/jlu.jar com.symantec.liveupdate.LiveUpdate -d

    There no error code and successfully update.

    I attached here my liveupdt.log for reference. Anyone help for this?

    @Rafeeq,

    Which path? My liveupdate.conf is default, /etc/liveupdate.conf

    in that config can you check the java path?

    This below current one,

    [Symantec Shared]
    BaseDir=/opt/Symantec
    JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/java/jre1.7.0_45/bin

    AFAIK 

    234 means

    The catalog file failed verification.

    But not sure how to troubleshoot this as I never worked on non widnows.

    whats the version of Lu installed?

    There no LU in my environment, JLU is initially setup as default and set to direct internet.
