I tried searching for some docs which could reveal the roadmaps but didn't found any...

I have read that SF 6.0 is due for release in year end 2011 (probably Nov), I strongly believe that should have support for RHEL 6.

Thanks for that. That's not very encouraging considering that RHEL6 has been GA for around 90 days now. I would hope that something would be around before the end of the year.

I was told that Symantec has adopted a '90-day' policy - meaning that they will support OS updates within 90 days of release.

Please speak to your Symantec SE for updated Roadmap info - they don't publish it but will be happy to share it with all the necessary disclaimers.

Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows.

Support for RHEL 6 will be

Support for RHEL 6 will be handled through a separate platform release, 5.1SP1PR2.

This release is on target to be released within the 90-day committment, ie. before the end of January - in less than a week.
