Any customers out there that have CMS without asset managenent, can you tell me if you have the option under Manage Computers to right click a computer and add it to a filter?

I'm not getting this option and wondering if you need asset management to get it.  If so, that's a shame.  Building right click options seems overly complicated, if it's even possible for this.

    I'm CMS 7.5 SP1 HF5.

    Hi Sally5432,

    • "CMDB Solution 7.5 SP1" product isn't included in CMS 7.5 SP1 suite by default.
    • I see that this "Add to filter" right-click action goes from "CMDB Solution".

When only SMP and then CMD Solution 7.5 SP1 is installed

    • According to licensed solutions list, CMDB Solution 7.5 SP1 doesn't require a license.

    Thanks,

    IP.

I am on the same version as you. I dont have asset management, and yes, I do have the 'Add to filter' when I right click a computer

p..s I do believe we installed CMDB solution a while ago!

Thanks all.  Installing CMDB got that option for me (in SIM, install new products, then select none from filter at top), but now when I do add to filter I'm not seeing my custom filters.  This thread was for same issue but right clicking in filter pane does nothing for me.  Any ideas on that one?

Figured out the right click custom filter thing, you have to right click on the Manage Computers screen itself, on the top left filters box, then you can show/hide your custom filters as you wish.  Then they show up in the Add to Filters window.  Just posting in case it helps anyone else
