    We are going to change the IP Address of GUP's Server. So is there any impact or Risk involve in this change?

    For the Gup Server you have only ensure that the GUP is Communicate with Client through Hostname, if it getting connected through Ip Address you required to change the same setting on Server where Gup is configured.

    Also required to open the port 2967 from firewall for client communication.

    If you specified by hostname than no. If you specified by IP address than yes. Make to update your policy if needed.

    how have you configured GUP i.e. IP name/hostname or other specification?

    if there is another machine with same IP then that client will become GUP if it is managed client.

    Yes. Modify the LU policy where the OLD IP address is used and replace that with the new IP address.

    It by mistake subject was same but now renamed.

    there gup is configured with hostname.

    thanks i will in minded that while changing IP required ports will be open.
