Client Management Suite

Whenever I am trying to install the agent the status is stuck at Starting 'Symantec Management Agent install service'. I've tried to used both the domain admin and the local administrator account to install the agent however it stays at the install service message forever.

There is nothing happening at the client computer.

Hi Please let me know the version of Symantec Management Platform and information of the Clients you are pushing the SMA to.

Also have you checked Log Viewer on Notification server, is there any error while pushing the agent..?

I've stalled this project as something more important needs to be finished.

I'll update this forum once I start the project again.

I have tried export certificate from NS and install them on client as trusted, also i have tried change SSL setting in IIS site (Require SSL > Ignore and then Accept), but i have same error.

Edit:

If i try download AeXNSC.exe on client from adress in log, start's downloading OK (if i have not installed server certificate on client, then after warning about certificate trust).

If you use Internet Explorer "Options" it's only for the logged in user, not the PC. I don't think it will work at all unless you install the cert.

True, but I can't install exported server personal .pfx certificate (from server IIS) otherwise than for specific user, isn't it true? (personal pfx is not for computer)

Edit: If I disable SSL (also in SMA Advanced setting), everything work fine.

But this is not solution, i want to use SSL :)

I have the same problem. Trying to use SSL, rolling out client - nothing happens.  Try to open the website on the client to install from there and nothing happens.  This is the only error in the log:

"Send event failed: URL https://...  

Error Code: 10061, Error Description: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

Anyone have any ideas?

I also have the same problem.  NS or website does not install.  Get the following error:

Error Code: 10065, Error Description: A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host

Both computers can ping each other and talk to each other via the network.

Anyone have a place to start?  Installing manually does not seem to work either.

Anyone has solved this problem? I'm with the same error in my environment. If anyone can help me be grateful.
