  • 1.  RTCI Activity Log Purge sending blanc mails

    Hi All,

    Every day I receive a mail from the RTCI Activity Log Purge policy with "0" records deleted.     This worked well... until we applied Altiris 7.1 SP 2, that seemed to have reset the query in that policy. 

    When I make the change again the resolved query fails with error "Raw Sql Query cannot be Resolved:Failed to retrieve schema information from run".
    This is because the EXEC(@sQuery) command is not executed (it runs flawless when it does have to execute the query,but fails when it doesn't get to the execution-part).

    How can this best be resolved?

    Do you use RTCI?  If not, disable the policy, remove the repeat for the policy, and save.  If this is not effective, you could further edit the e-mail task to go to a non-existent address or change it to a different task type.  But I usually just disable the task and remove the repeat.
