  • 1.  RTVScan.exe application error

    Hello,

    One of the parent servers that is running WinXPSP2 version 10.1.9 (was upgraded from MR8) is consistently prompted this message:

    RTVSCAN.EXE - APPLICATION ERROR
    the instruction at "0x7c910a19" reference memory at "0x00000000".  the memory could not be "read".  click OK to terminate the program. click on CANCEL to to debug program.

    there was discussion thread to upgrade the version from MR8 to MR9.  Have done so, but still is prompting the message.  Note: this stops the SAV services from running.

    Any ideas?

    This problem can happen when the computer does not have DirectX 8.1 or later.
