Is there any way to run software tasks in 7.1 using the target's Local System Account? The only options I see are Symantec Agent creds, logged-in-user creds and specified AD account.

Thanks.

What issue are you seeing?

Normally, the agent is running under the System account, at least in Automation.  OK - it can ONLY run under the System account in automation.  In production, that may be different.

That's why I ask what you're seeing.  If it's in automation, then the answer is "Yes."  Use the Agent credentials and it'll use System.

This is in Windows

This is in Windows production, not automation.

In production, the default will run as System/NTAuthority.

Are you having problems with this?  That's the top radio option to use the account of the application.  By default, the services are running as System, so the tasks run as NTAuthority / System.

Are you not seeing this?
