Running reports

I am trying to run reports using Altiris 7.1 to find different aspects of my hardware overal such as how many/whic PCs i have running XP or how much ram installed.
Is there any documentation out there for this or is this something Altiris cannot preform?

I think the Symantec Management Platform User Guide covers report writing if the built in reports don't do what you want.
For more advanced reports you could look into using IT Analytics, there's lots of guidance Articles here on connect how to use that.
