How can I run WSP as a standalone app? I have a laptop with WPS 7 installed in a VM environment to create packages. I get the following when trying to run WPS "Before you can use this product, you must configure or upgrade the Wise Software Repository. This must be done in the Wise Repository Manager on the Wise Package Studio server. What must I do to get past this error and be able to run WPS as a standalone app. Thanks for any assistance.

Running WPS Pro issue as a standalone app

It shows basically to configure your Wise Share Point and database in two scenarios.
1. First time installation.
2. Wise Share Point renamed/moved/deleted.

Follow these steps to run WPS as standalone.
1. Create a folder "Wise Share Point" and share it with full control.
2. SQL Server/Express edition should be installed.
3. Select the local machine SQL Instance at the time of Database Identification.
4. Select Windows NT authentication.
5. Repeat step 3 & 4 for Software Repository Manager and Wise Services Database.
6. Installation and configuration will start and after that you will be able to use WPS locally.

Cheers!
