Runtime 216 error on Citrix

Hi

I have SEP11 installed on several Citrix servers.  One of the servers is displaying this error when a user tries to access any item that uses Explorer in the Citrix environment:

Runtime 216 error at 77E678DF

Numerous web articles point the finger at the Subseven trojan, however the server's SEP11 client has detected nothing, and a full scan comes up clean.

Any suggestions - would there be any clues in the registry if this is a genuine infection?

Thanks

Try scanning with SERT Tool,

You can try as well the Symantec Power Eraser for scanning:

Thanks for the suggestions, but should I really need to use these tools against a virus that is several years old? If this is a real infection surely the SEP11 client would be detecting it?

Thanks

Hello,

What version of SEP 11 are you running?

Secondly, is the SEP installed with only AV/AS feature??

Check this Article:

Error Message: Runtime Error 216

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259279?wa=wsignin1.0

Secondly, I would suggest you to run a Scan with SERT tool.

Hope that helps!!
