Has anyone seen BSODs with this file being the cause? Apparently it's part of the Application Metering agent. It's happened with users trying to save or edit doucments in a Microsoft Office program; they click to make an edit or save and the computer blue screens. So far I've only seen two BSODs, but I have a feeling it's going to become more frequent.

    Hi BeaconHelpDesk,

Could you please provide us with dump file so that we may analyze and identify exact reason of crash?

Usually it is stored at %SystemRoot% folder.

    Thank you,

    Roman

Thank you for the provided files. We are working on pointfix preparation and will let you know as soon as it is ready.

BTW, you mentioned that problem appeared when users were trying to save or edit documents in a Microsoft Office program, could you please share more details? It would be great to know Operating System and Microsoft Office version, locale, installed add-ons, what exact application/document causes problems.

    Regards,

    Roman

I've attached the two dump files to this reply; I used WinDbg but I've never really gotten the symbols down so it results to Probably caused by: SAMDriver.sys. The file dated 051816 is a Windows 7 machine and the other is a Windows 10 machine.
