I've taken over a client site from an ex-colleague so I picking up where he left things.  One thing I did is that I ran Backup Exec License Tool, and for whatever reason I see that there are two licenses for "Agent For Windows"  Is this something that is easily correctable?

Also this server is a SQL database, do I need the license for both "Agent for Windows" and "Agent for Applications and Databases"?

Yes.  An "Agent for Applications and Databases" licence is needed to backup SQL and the  "Agent for Applications and Databases" licence comes with a "Agent for Windows" licence.

BELAT is a great tool, but it does misreport. I used it to get an idea of what I had in my environment, and then went and counted against it to come to my totals. Neither of which was ever right, making it a fight with our vendor to get the right numbers put under a new year's maintenance.

Could be reporting 2 different RAWS agents if you upgraded, or changed media servers, or for some reason uninstalled and reinstalled it. I've had some really strange occurences!

Thanks!
