HI Folks,
I have one NetApp VTL, Quantum TL, NetApp filers and NetBackup master server connected to SAN SW. I ahve created three virtual TL on NetApp VTL and assigned to NetApp filer1, NetApp filer2 and NetBackup master respectively.
I am backing up netapp filers as NDMP hosts over the SAN to the Netapp VTL.

I have also zoned Quantum TL to NetBackup server. Tapes which are created on VTL and exported on the physical tape has the same barcodes and media labels.

I want to restore the NDMP data from Quantum TL over the SAN. Right now I am restoring NDMP data through NetBackup server and then NBU is dumping to the NDMP host over the LAN.

Any answers??
