Hello Guys,
I´m having a problem with a sap agent + oracle 11g + netbackup 7.5 (all running windows).
If I run a backup of one of the SAP databases manually using the sample sap_rman script that resides within NBU installation directory , every environment variables are properly set.
What if I want to run it automatically via NBU policy?
For example: on unix machines, we have the possibility to su - orauser
How about windows? Do we have to set all environment variables at the begining of the script?
Regards,
Hidetoshi

Change the NetBackup Client Service account to the same service account used for Sap and Oracle services. No need for environment variables.
See 'Configuring the log on account for the NetBackup Client Service for NetBackup for SAP on Windows' in NetBackup for SAP Administrator's Guide.
Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows
Handy NBU Links
