Sauvegarde messagerie

bonjour,

une fois la sauvegarde lancée , aprés ça je vérife mes données sauvegarder sur la bande je trouve d'autres fichiers qui ne sont pas sauvegarder avec mon dossier .

j'ai fait une restauration de tous ces fichiers ---> la surprise que je ne trouve pas les fichiers qui est en plus ( je trouve seulement mon dossier sauvegarder)

 

meme j'ai vérifier de mon serveur ces fichiers n'existe pas (ni caché ni non caché)

...check your selection list and make sure you have selected the correct files and/or folders.

If you haven't, then data won't be backed up if not selected!

c'est ça le probléme, j'ai vérifier dans la liste de selection mais certain  fichiers non meme pas exister et je le trouve dans le media aprés bien sur une sauvegarde

 

donc des fichiers sauvegarder et non pas selectionée

Backup Exec has Active File Exclusion that excludes certain file types like *.mdf/ldf, *.edb etc.
Could be that AFE is blocking these files from being backed up, and the only way around this is to stop AFE from working and stop the application during the backup to get access to the files.
Could also be that these files are excluded in the selection list, so open it up and take a look at your exclusions.

...you have an Exchange agent which allows you to backup Exchange from the selection list.

But if you select the Exchange installation directory which has the *.edb and *.stm files for example, when it comes to backing up those files they will be skipped.

If the missing files are under DFS, then they are backed up as part of the shadows copy component.  To restore them, you need to restore the shadows copy component and re-direct it to another location.

oui, mais a partir de la liste de selection je trouve pas "Microsoft Exchange" comme option
