SAV 10.1.9 - parent server / installation crashed after Shutdown

although the version 10 is not supported any more, i´ll try to find some tipps here. Maybe someone can help me.

The Problem:
After a shutdown the parent-server (Win 2003 R2, SAV 10.1.9) shows dialog-boxes, where symantec wants to install a feature. (infinitive loop).

The first error message is "Blank passwords are not allowed, Please enter a valid password".
After that it appears a dialog-box, where i can set the correct source (although it is already the correct path).

The last message is: "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Symantec Antivirus". The windows installer cannot continue.

Before i go the "hard" way with "NONAV" - Has anyone had the same problems with this subject ?

Hello Mithun,

thank your for the links ! It´s a little bit different, cause i have the problem on a server and no explicit entry in the Control panel to remove only the client-version on the server.
But i try the proposals insofar as i can. Thanks !
