This issue has been solved. See solution.

Basic question (I hope). If there are two servers on the same network, one running SAV 10.x and the other running SEP 11.x, will the workstations discovered by SEP 10.x show up as unmanaged by SEP 11.x & vice versa?

Hi

SEP 11 will only manage SEP 11 clients and vice versa.

You cannot manage SAV 10.x, 9.x, etc clients from a SEP 11.x server. Nor can you manage SEP 11.x clients from a SAV 10.x or earlier version of SAV server. If you do not want to migrate all of your SAV 10.x, 9.x clients at one time to SEP 11.x, you will need to run two managed servers in parallel. One SAV 10.x server to manage your SAV 10.x, 9.x, etc clients and one SEP 11.x server to manage your SEP 11.x clients.

 SEP will see SAV as

SEP will see SAV as Unmanaged and SAV will see SEP as UNmanaged.

For Remote Install
SEP will see SAV as Unmanaged it will deploy on it.Remove SAV and SEP will be installed.

Haven't tried with SAV but
For SAV server if you do remote install it will be pushed but it will Fail saying "Newer version is already installed"
