I am using a SSC 10.1.8.8000 (10.2.2) and managing 300 clients on Windows XP systems.
I have been finding lately (since Nov 4 and Nov 9) that the updates that the server is downloading from Symantec is not being pushed out to all the clients.
Perhaps 15-30% of 300 users are getting the updates other are just staying at their current level.
If I highlight groups of systems I can then do the manula update to them and they will update.
I have cleared out the Liveupdate cache, and it still seems to have the same affect.
Some of the clients I remotly goto the
SYSTEM\\c$\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs
and manually place the new folders and .DAT files and restart the service it seems to go, though is there something that I may be missing to ensure that the clients update properly as they should?
