    Good Morning.

    I have a question regarding SAV Corporate v9's behavior and am wondering if this is normal.

    I've installed server and pushed the client down to all workstations within the domain.

    During the reboot of any workstation, the icon will appear in the system tray, but then disappears by the time the boot process is complete. It still appears to be running when I open task manager, even though the icon is gone.

    Is this normal? Can someone please explain why this is happening?

    Hi where is the client?

    is it a normal windows xp deskop or terminal server?

    if its terminal server then it wont display the icon.

    or you might have disbaled the option to visible in taskbar.

    happening on all the client ?? or on few?

    - The clients all reside on XP workstations within the domain. 

    - The workstations are actual PCs running XP Pro with SP3

    - I thought I might have disabled the appearance of the icon in the tray but when I looked, I was unable to find that as an option, even under advanced configuration settings.

    - This behavior is happening on ALL the workstations within the domain.

    How do u check that on the systems?

    Do u RDP ?

    or physically on the servers?

    if you doing RDP , make sure you are in console session.

    start - run - mstsc / console

    please check this doc.
