  • 1.  SAV For Linux can't update using Intelligent Updater

    Posted Feb 08, 2013 01:39 AM

    Hello!

I have a problem, my SAV for Linux is can't update manually using Intelligent Updater. The Linux machine is using Redhat Enterprise OS. I've try update manually using Intelligent Updater, because the machine PC don't have connection to internet so that my SAV can't access link ftp.symantec.com.

Then, I've download the unix.sh file. But, when I'm execute the unix.sh file, then show result in the following output :

    "Validating available tools...
    Decoding Intelligent Updater package...
    uudecode: stdin: Short file

A transcript of this installation has been saved as /var/log/iu-install.log"

After that, i check the definition of SAV and date of definition is no change.
Is there something wrong with the SAVFL or the Linux machine? What the best solution for this issue?

I hope someone can help me! Thanks.

    Best Regards,

    Barkah
