This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hello,
i have here two "older" Symantec AntiVirus Servers. Both server have Windows Server 2003 installed. The first one has
Symantec Anti Virus Server 10.1.5 and the second one has Symantec AntiVirus Server 10.1.7.
I want to Update both Server to Symantec Anti Virus 10.1.9, can i start this Update through the Symantec System Center
Console? And will the Update install 10.1.9 or installs the Update another Version (10.2)?
The Symantec System Center Console is installed on an Server with Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.9, i have installed the
System Center Console on this server from the media i used to install the SAV Server.

Can i Update the both other Servers from the SAV Server 10.1.9 to SAV Server 10.1.9 or will the Update process install
a newer Version (10.2)?

I ask because if i login into Symantec FileConnect i can download 10.1.9 or 10.2.

Thanks for your replies.

regards
Kai S

 10.1.x is for

 10.1.x is for 2k,2k3,xp
10.2.x is for 2k8 and vista.
So don't get confused between them.

Make sure first you upgrade all your SSC to 10.1.9
uninstall old ssc-reboot-install new SSC -reboot.

After that from SSC using client remote install ..upgrade SAV parent servers then SAV secondary servers then the clients.
