  • 1.  SAVCE 10.1.6000 in windows server 64 bits

    Hi.
     
    Anyone knows if is possible to install a SAVCE 10.1 client in a server with Microsoft windows server 2003 64 bit edition.
     
    The knwoledge base says which components are not compatible with 64 bits operating systems (system center, liveupdate from parent server, etc). But, I recently installed a client in a MS windows 2003 64 and the symantec system center don´t show the client, the communications port are open, no firewalls.

    you should definintely see the 64bit client in the SSC - have you joined it to a parent server?
