  • 1.  SAVCE Install does not complete on Vista machine Error 1920

    I'm trying to install SAVCE on a Vista machine. The user is set as an administrator for the computer. I am installing from my disk and using the install for Vista. The install gets almost all the way through then when it gets to Status: Starting services I get the error Error 1920. Symantec AntiVirus (Symantec AntiVirus) failed to start. Verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
     
    I can't get this to install for some reason. I've never had trouble with any other Vista install. Any information would be appreciated.

    We have had this problem for over 6 months now and Symantec has been of no help, neither has MS.  They point the finger at each other.
