    Dear everyone

My company used Symantec Endpoint 12.1.5337.5000 and have applied Application and device Control

If I applied rules "Application and Device Control" then save / open file to Floppy Disk very long time ( around 15 - 30 min )

    Otherwise, Save /Open very fast ( < 01 min )

Please help me show to me which the root cause , I can not applied this rules because it's became higher risk when user plug their USB drive to computer.

    Thanks/phamduyus

The rule either blocks or allows, it won't "slow" things up.

Have you tried with the latest version, 12.1.6 MP4?

You may need to get a case open so someone can remote in

You can install and use the latest SEP client without upgrading the server to the latest version. Ask the IT administrator for a copy of the latest SEP client if you do not have access to it.

If you have the serial number, you can get the latest SEP version from http://fileconnect.symantec.com and then import it in your SEPM.

Then when you export it, you will have the latest, managed SEP client.

    Hope this helps.

Install it as unmanaged and then use this tool to get it reported to SEPM by replacing sylink
