    Hey Guys,

I'd just talked to the advance team of support, they told me that we can't run the sav without a savap on it. Our current kernel is not supported and and we cant upgrade yet. We dont want to compile our own kernel as it is not supported by the Symantec Support and this is a production line so we need to have a support if anything happens.

    Any thoughts?

I believe compiling your own is the only other workaround. You may need to look elsewhere for a linux client than if you need support

if kernel version is not supported, you should recomile AP to run correctly.

    Hello,

Right, I agree with Brian. You will have to compile your own AP module.

Try to test it on a test machine and check before putting it on production.

    Hey thanks,

If only Symantec will support us after recompling our own kernel. It's just we cant risk because the servers we are trying to fix are revenue related. So yeah.

    Thanks,
