    Hi All,

My Linux client is using SAVFL 1.0.5, and the AV definition update is pulled from LUA Server v2.3.2, the download and the distribution process has been successful, however the client log shows that it is still failed to be updated due to the enormous size of the update files ~ 1.9 GB, is this the normal case or not normal ?

    here are the logs:

    hello,

How many disk space available ?

The error "java Liveupdate session did not complete succesfully, return code 246" is shown in the LiveUpdate log (liveupdt.log)

    Cause

    Lack of free disk space.

    Solution

Free up at least 1GB of disk space in Windows installations and 2GB in other platforms. You can then run a new LiveUpdate session manually or wait for the next scheduled session and check whether the update is successful.

Java LiveUpdate fails with return code 246

the default /tmp partition size is just 1.5 GB, so I am still don't understand as to why the SAVFl took so big ?
