Why don't you install SBE 12.1 on windows server 2008 ?
SEP SBE 12.1 RU1 is latest built by Symantec.It has many more features and improvements compare to SBE 12.0
Because that's a 5 users pack for SBE 12.0 . It has only the serial number & no slf file. I've to register a account & add the serial number to download the slf file, which is specific for 12.0 not for 12.1 (I think so, not quite sure). So I couldn't put the slf file on SBE 12.1.And I was trying to install SBE 12.0 . That's all.
I am tring to install Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 12.0 ( 5 Users Pack). 100% Sure
License concept is exact same for both the products i.e SBE 12.0 and SBE 12.1
Both the product uses license file to activate the product.
