    Hello,

    i'm new with Symantec products so i'll try be more clear in my question.

    i have a server with symantec brightmail message filter 6.2 and last year i registred it with SBMF 6.3 and its work with me,

    this year my reseller told that SBMF 6.3 licence is absolete and it remplaced with "SYMC MESSAGING GATEWAY 10.0 PER USER SUB LIC
    EXPRESS BAND C BASIC 12 MONTHS    "

    so my question is SYMC MESSAGING GATEWAY 10.0 licence is it will work with my server SBMF 6.2 frown

    Symantec Brightmail Message Filter is geared towards service providers, most typically ISPs. It has some configuration options, but they can be a bit limited when compared with Symantec Messaging Gateway 10.0.

    Although the license may work, it is not recommended nor supported. I would recommend installing Symantec Messaging Gateway 10.0 on it's own. There are several options, including a virtual appliance.
