We're running 7.1. I recently noticed, after rebooting the NS that SBS services are missing. How do I reinstall them?

KNOWN ISSUE: SBS services will not run because SbsNSiSignal.ini is malformed or missing

Uh, in 7.1 that's a bit of a problem.  Do you know how the services became missing?  My "guess" would be that the agent on the SMP was uninstalled and reinstalled without doing the rest.  There are executables that can and should be run under NSCap that will reinstall the services, BUT you may have a bigger problem.  You need to verify things like images and copy file tasks and such.

Before you stress though, I want to be sure - this is on the SMP itself that the services - the 4 services - are missing?  And you DO have 7.1, not 7.5?  Be very careful and accurate.

Finally, check for the deployment share.  If it's gone... uh...

Oh, do you have any other site servers?  If you do, and IF they have a deployment share, back it up ASAP.

    Then let us know.

PS>  The links offered above are for if the services are PRESENT but not running.  If they're missing, those links will not help a bit.
