  • 1.  SBS2011 loses network with SEPMasterService error

    Posted Apr 25, 2012 06:30 PM

All my clients lose network access to our server occasionally (happened twice today).  In the system log in my event viewer at the time we lose access I see the following entry "A timeout (90000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the SepMasterService service."  I'm trying to figure out if SEP is causing the problem or if this error is the result of another problem.

    Hello,

Do you have WSUS installed on the same machine?

I would suggest you to Remove corrupted or misconfigured GPO policy component.

Computer installation > Software Settings > Software installation > ManageEngine AssetExplorer Agent

    OR/AND

Computer installation > Software Settings > Software installation > ManageEngine AssetExplorer Agent :: GPO WSUS

    Hope that helps!!
