    Good Morning,

     

    We are setting up a test/trial to offload AV scanning to a server.  We are looking at Scan Engine 5.2, but have found the white papeprs for SAV for NAS (Symantec AntiVirus for Network Attached Storage) as well!?. 

     

    Do I need both of these pieces of software or do I just need one of them?  If so which one for ssanning files in a share?

     

    Scan Engonee seems to be aimed at software/IIS traffic or have I read it wrong/

    Likely you just need SAV for NAS. which is just a different bundling of the Symantec Scan Engine.
