Can you post a screenshot of this?

What is the exact version of SEP?

http://i.imgur.com/SfVamhl.png. SEP Version is 12.1.4013.4013. OS(windows7 enterprise x64) and SEP are installed on an ssd with 80GBs of free space. Paging File size is 6GB. It is noteworthy that after my last OS wipe I haven't been able to run a single scan, and this problem was present even before the format.

Download and run the symhelp tool to see if it shows any errors:

Download the Symantec Help (SymHelp) diagnostic tool to detect Symantec product issues

Out of all these, non appear to have caused the problem. Or to me at least. I have also attached a report file.

As a first step can you try upgrading to 12.1.5 to see if that fixes the issue?

Hello, for anyone who has this problem, check that the "SYSTEM" user has full security access to the TEMP folder in the logged in user profile , i.e   %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp  , without the access you are likely to get this error as this is where the scan data is stored.

I hope this is of help to anyone.
