What is the best way to manage laptops that are not connected to the corporate network everday and keep them from being reported on SEP console scan failures?  I'm only interested in the scan failures from the workstations on the network.  Our laptops are used occasionally on the network and from home, but not always connected like a workstation.  Would putting the laptops under a different policy change reporting?

Depends on how you have you're reporting setup, but you could exclude that group from reporting. You can create multiple filters.

    Hi,

Thubms up to Brian's advice & Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

I would be glad to answer your query.

You can construct custom filters by using the Basic Settings and Advanced Settings to change the information that you want to see. You can save your filter settings to the database so that you can generate the same view again in the future. When you save your settings, they are saved in the database. The name you give to the filter appears in the Use a saved filter list box for that type of logs and reports.
