Hi Team,

I want  to  enable attachment  scanning on one of  my  web  sevrver  hosting  this  application.

Just want to know if  I install  it  on  the same server would that  affect  my  server performance.

secodly I'm  trying to  install Scan Engine on  my  unix (Sun box)  it  prompt  me  to  enter admin port  (8004)  by  default,  but  it says port  is  already  used..I tried number  greater  than  1024 also  checked with  netstat  for  port for  its usage but  still  it  is not accepting  the  admin  port and says port  is  already  used.

There are a lot of products that could be using that port 8004. You can choose any port you want, so you should simple try another, such as 9004 or 8104.

The important port that you will need for scanning is going to be the ICAP port on 1344.
