  • 1.  Scanning Issue with SEP 11.0.5 and Windows 7

    Hi. I'm running Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.5002.333 on Windows 7 Professional. Whenever I try any kind of scan (Active or Full), it returns 0 Files scanned in about 5 seconds scan time. Updates as of 4/30/2011 are installed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    try installin the lates version of the client; 

    you can download that from https://fileconnect.symantec.com with your serial number

    SEP latest version is 11.0.6300. install the latest version .

    Before upgrading Uninstall/Reinstall SEP client. 

    Symantec Endpoint Protection client manual or scheduled full scan shows 0 files scanned, scan ends after only a couple of minutes.

    Uninstall, and then install the  latest version..
