Scanning in SafeMode no longer an option

This issue has been solved. See solution.
We've recently upgraded to symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 and have noticed that we can no longer scan a computer in safe mode..Is this by design or is there another way to do a full scan on a computer in safe mode?

Hi,
Go to Windows taskmanager --> File --> New task --> browse "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.671.4971.105\Bin\SymCorpUI.exe" If it is server 2008 or windows 7 you will have to browse to program(x86) data folder instead of program files.
