Hey everyone, i came across this when i was doing a scan for a unknown PC that appeared to ahve been missed during a rollout. I did a unmanaged scan on the subnet that the machine was on and i came across a large amount of managed PC's  that came back as managed. is this something normal or should I be a bit worried and redeploy to those machines?  Dave

interesting.

Hello DS2SW
I have unmanaged clients too. But it's not change to managed. are your unamanged clients self-managed?
Thanks
Fatih.

It's a "normal flaw". Happens

It's a "normal flaw". Happens here, too - yet those machines ARE managed, they are in the SEM console list, they have current policies and defs, and when I go to some of the machines (those I can go to in this building) the client end looks fine, too.
It also reports Cisco devices as running Windows XP and being unmanaged, too - including one of our access points................

In other words, yeah, it does that............ I think I've posted about it in the forums here before.
