scanning user profile hive

Can any one tell me if a scan (full or otherwise) will check the user profile hive of all users or does it only scan the currently logged in user?

ps That is the shortest reply I have ever had : ) If you want more information on this feel free to post back, but I think this is what you would expect a good anti-virus to do.

a full system scan will scan the user profile hive of all users.
