  • 1.  Scans run at unscheduled times.

    Hello - I have my scans set to run every Wednesday at 4:30.  When I look at my scan logs - the scan runs at 3pm.  how do I get the scan to run at 4:30?  or can you tell me a reason why this is happending and how to fix.

    What's the exact version of SEP? Did you upgrade from a previous version?

    Is this a full scan that runs at the wrong time or a custom one?

    It's possible an old scan can be "stuck" in the registry. See some solutions here:

     you can call Symantec support to request the "SymRmvScan" Utility .  Wish it help !!

    Hello,

    What exact version of SEP 12.1 are you running?

    Make sure you are running the Latest version of SEP 12.1.3 and above.

    There was a FIX in SEP 12.1.RU2. http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC6155
