  • 1.  SCCM 2012 + Altiris 7.1 client deployed on same computer

    Hello,

    Due to internal organization, we are planning to use both SCCM 2012 and Altiris 7. targetting same Windows 7 computers. There would be no overlap for each tool's usage :

    • Altiris : OS and Application deployment
    • SCCM : Patch Management, and DCM

    Is anyone aware of known compatibiliy issue ? Is it a supported configuration ?

    Interesting.  I know of no compatibility issues, but the environments I've seen this in typically haven't had agent overlap for long (underdoing a transition).  There's nothing about the agents that would cause an issue, especially if you are configuring them to have no functionality overlap (e.g. just one patching, just one inventory, just one metering).
