  • 1.  Scheduled Process not working

    We have found that random process that are on a schedule to run are not actually running. we have two workflow servers one is version 7.5 and one is an old logicbase 2007.

     

    Both servers are showing the same thing some process run fine when they are scheduled some dont run at all.  We have restarted the server ext from the tray icon which was suggested to me on another thread were a new process wasn't working this fixed that problem.. These ones still do not run. We have deleted the deploy folder and republished the process still will not run as scheduled. We have removed all restrictions from it so that it runs every day each hour still nothing.

     

    Running out of ideas hopefully someone can help

    Any log messages? Even if you don't see any, you might have to knock the logging level down to Info level.

    IIS restart might help as well... as well as investigating the setup of the app in IIS (app pool user, authentication level, etc).

    Maybe inspecting the IIS logs to see if the service is even attempting to be invoked (for example, if the service is being his but theres a HTTP error code, its an IIS/authentication thing)

    Not seeing any log messages or exceptions firing. but they could be somewhere else where are you thinking they might show up?

     

    IIS has restarted many times even the server has been restarted.  Both working and non working process reside in the same app pool.

     

    I will check the IIS logs.
