But the system not sending reports through email (see the attchment).

In addition, when I tried with trial version of SEP 11.0 few months ago, then this system worked fine!!!

Are you using SEP 11 or SEP 12 SBE?. Because if I look at the screenshot it tells me that its SEP 11. Now if its SEP 11 what is the version in use. The latest version is RU5.

May be you can have a look at the article listed below and reconfigure the settings.

How to create a Scheduled Report in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager ?

Try by reconfiguring the notification. Also assure that in Admin----> Servers--->Local site---> <SEPM server > --->Edit server properties--->Mail server informations all are correct....

    Hi akaki,

Here are the details you requested:

Server Address:  IP address, host name, or domain name of the email server.

Port Number:  Port number for the email server that sends the notifications.

User name:  User name of the account on the email server. If you want to configure administrator email notifications, you should use the format user@domain in this text box.

If this text box is left blank, SYSTEM@computer name sends the notifications.

Password:  Password of the account on the mail server. This field is mandatory if the email server requires authentication.

There is an Exchange server on the same computer as my SEPM, so I just have the correct IP address input and then port 25.  The other two fields are blank.  Notifications and reports are delivered to the accounts I have configured.

Please let the forum know if this has helped answer your question!

    Thanks and best regards,

    Mick

    2)  Port Number:      I don't know the port number of my email server. Is this POP3 [110]?
    3)  User Name:        Is this my web server administrator user account (from where I controll all of my  email user's [www.abc.com]) or my local sever administrator's accout of my local domain?
    4)  Password:        related to point 3.

    I don't hane exchange server.

Contact hosting party for the details...

Any way give a try as follows...
    Keep port no as 25
Give the name of the mail server.(Normally these details we use while configuring outlook)

OK...I've put my own email details (my email address, user name & password) with port no 25 (why not 110 [it's incoming POP3 port]) from my outlook settings. Let see...

    Hi,
Yes it's working...I've got report (Security status summery). Many thankxxx to all of you.
Now just help me to select an option(report type) to get that kind of report in the image:

    report_option.JPG

Another thing is that: I've set up only my email account related info. But I want to get same report in sevaral email accoumt account. So where I'll type their their info?

    * 1 additional Qs: all of my SEP client getting updates or features from server management console when they are connected with our networking system. But, any client is out of my network for 2/3 months but connected with internet, then how can those clients get updates?

We are setting the port which SEPM has to send the report to ,so we are using port 25.
