This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have a db admin who wants a copy of four files each night.
They can't just copy them as they're often in use 24/7.
Backup Exec can grab them with the Advanced Open FIle Option, right?

Is there a way to copy or "restore" these files to a certain directory each night after the backup?

We use 12.5 and backup to disk.

   Thanks in advance - JD

The four files are "the"

The four files are "the" database:  db.rb1, db.rb2, db.rb3, db.rb4.

The database is RBase (rbase.com).

RE: Scheduled "restore" of most recent backup?

Sorry, when the restore job is created, the media to be restored from must exist in the catalog

This  idea has been asked for quite often here on the forum

You can add this to the "ideas" area (top menu bar)  If you get enough "thumbs up" on it, we MAY see this in a future release
