    Hi,

    Apologies if this is a common problem - I've tried to find a resolution for this, but haven't managed to locate anything specific in my searches.

    We have several v12.1 RU2 clients connected to an SEPM server and a seperate Live Update Server. All of the clients are automatically updating successfully except for one, which does not appear to be following the schedule defined by SEPM. The client does update when activated manually and the schedule is displayed correctly in the settings screen.

    Looking at the lue.log file, there are only entries for the manual updates and I can't see any entries being created on the schedule. When I check the logs of the other v12 clients, they clearly indicate hourly attempts to update the definitions - even if there are no updates available.

    Any ideas where I look next?

    Can you run the symhelp tool on it to see of any issues show up?

    Hi,

    Just looked at the configuration for this machine and it has no gateway defined on any of it's network cards. This is possibly by design, since our systems often run on private networks without external gateways. However, in this case, the working machines do have a gateway defined on the one of their cards, so I have added this gateway to the one with a problem. It looks like the schedule Liveupdate has just run for the first time, but I will post back and confirm in an hour or 2. In the meantime, I am collecting the requested logs, just in case there is still an issue.

    I can confirm that the machine has executed the scheduled liveupdate again on the hour. :)

    The only thing remaining is to make sure that it updates when the next patch comes through - it is fully patched after yesterday's manual update. I have no reason to believe that this won't work though.

    Checked again today and the machine is now up to date for patches.
