Is there a way to schedule the SEP Client deployment from the Console?

Assuming you're talking about the initial deployment of the SEP client and not upgrades, then I'm afraid the answer is no.

The SEPM does not contain any native tools for the automated and scheduled deployment of the client software, only a manual tool for remotely pushing the install package.

Included with the license for SEP however, you do gain access to the SEP Integration Component.  This is based on the Altiris technology and is able schedule and automate the deployment of the SEP client.

More info on the SEPIC can be found on the below kb page, and user guide article:

Further to the above.  Please also take a look at the below article on deploying SEP Clients using GPOs and via SCCM:

The limitation with the AutoUpgrade is that it can only be deployed based on Groups on the Console, right?

What if the SEP Client to be deployed on multiple servers that belong to several different groups? Is there a solution?

Yes, I'm talking about the initial deployment.

I have a list of servers (where SEP needs to be installed)

    1. some are part of AD (servers belong to different OUs)

    2. some are not part of AD.

In this case, I don't think GPO helps, doesn't it?

But with "Client Deployment Wizard", there's no option to schedule the deployment, isn't?

That's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to find out a way to schedule the client deployment.

Autoupgrade/ policy will be applied to group not to individual systems. you can put all those machines in a new group and then assign the policy

you can use moveclient utility to do so

HOWTO59432 only applies to SEP 11.x versions, right?

I don't see "Manage" menu on the SEPM.

    Hi,

It's possible with the help of 'Upgrade schedule' option. You can use auto upgrade feature to do that.

As you have target machines that are not part of your AD, then the GPO option will not be enough I'm afraid sad

This being the case, I'd recommend taking a serious look at the SEP Integration Component (SEPIC) tool.  This works for both AD linked and standalone machines in automated deployment of SEP.
